This Privacy Policy describes how PersiaVPN ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Android application and related services. By using PersiaVPN, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1 Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide and improve our service:

1.1 Account Information (Optional)

If you create a Premium account, we collect:

Email address (for account management and billing)
Payment information (processed securely by Google Play — we never see your card details)
Subscription status and expiry date

1.2 App Diagnostics (Anonymous)

To improve app stability, we may collect anonymous crash reports including:

App version number
Android OS version
Device model (e.g., "Samsung Galaxy S21")
Crash stack trace (no personal data)

This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

1.3 Aggregate Usage Statistics

We collect anonymized, aggregated statistics such as:

3 How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used exclusively for:

Service delivery: Authenticating Premium accounts and granting server access.
Billing: Processing subscription payments via Google Play.
App improvement: Fixing crashes and bugs using anonymous diagnostic data.
Capacity planning: Ensuring servers are not overloaded using aggregate statistics.
Customer support: Responding to your support requests.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond providing the VPN service.

4 Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited data only in these circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate PersiaVPN:

Google Play Billing — for subscription payment processing. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting VPN servers. These providers have no access to your traffic data.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority. However, because we do not log user activity, there is no VPN usage data to disclose.

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data would be transferred to the new entity under the same privacy protections described in this policy.

5 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

All VPN traffic is encrypted using AES-256-GCM or ChaCha20-Poly1305 ciphers.
Account data is stored on servers with encryption at rest.
Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.
We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6 Children's Privacy

PersiaVPN is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at persiavpn.sbs@proton.me and we will delete it promptly.

7 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.

      Account deletion: You can delete your PersiaVPN account at any time from the app's Settings menu. This will permanently remove all account data from our servers within 30 days.
    

8 Cookies & Analytics

The PersiaVPN mobile app does not use cookies.

Our website may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand page traffic (e.g., number of visitors, country of origin). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
